Keep On Chugging Along

It's changed over the past week.  The air is sharper, the colors deeper, and you can almost smell the leaves as they start falling to the ground.  And just as the season has changed, so has my commute.  I'm no longer commuting daily by train into Manhattan.  My current job is closer to home, and I admit driving on I-95 is just not the same (but I see some beautiful sunrises).

I will continue to post images that reflect my current and past commuting experinces.  I also hope to have some new adventures; whether it's trying other commuting methods or just going for a ride.  So keep on checking in, and I'll keep on chugging along....

Water Vapor Vision

The sky is alive!  One minute it's speckled with puffy wind clouds and the next minute dark steel grey rain clouds pour out of nowhere delivering stinging rain pellets that catch you at any moment.  When looking skyward over the past week, water vapor has condensed in unique patterns and levels making up skies that may leave some thinking, "That could only happen in a pretty painting.  Furthermore, the clouds and sky are the first harbinger of the changing seasons.  The humid soft palette of a summer sky - pale yellows, cerulean, and faint pinks have been replaced by sharp blues, greys and strong golden yellows of a winter sky.  The trees may take several more weeks to change, but the sky is letting us know cold is on its way.
